NewBridge Reinsurance Brokers is a reinsurance broking and consulting business, engaged in providing insurance and reinsurance consulting services. 

We are an innovative reinsurance intermediary that has the reputation of delivering personalised client services. Although we are based in South Africa, we offer tailor-made reinsurance solutions to clients operating in South Africa and other African countries.

The consulting services are composed of the following elements: 

• Providing advice with regard to the structuring of insurance operations including structuring, processes and procedures in respect of operational areas such as underwriting management, claims management, financial management, staff resources and if required assisting in developing strategic plans.

• Designing appropriate reinsurance programmes using a combination of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance classes for both Treaty Reinsurance and Facultative Reinsurance to optimise earnings and security.

• Placing of agreed reinsurance programmes for all classes of business, with recognised professional reinsurance companies.

• Identifying potential areas for future business development.

NewBridge provides services as mentioned above, across:

•  All classes of short-term/non-life insurance operations. 

•  Limited classes of long-term/life insurance operations, e.g. credit life and assistance business.
